News to share with my Haiku My Heart family
Please welcome little Sebastian David Zavala, our first grandchild. Our daughter, Krista, experienced a life threatening event and the only way to save her life was to deliver her baby 2 months early.
Little Sebastian is 3.1 lbs and 15 inches long. Fr. Sam, our priest, was there that night to baptize him at the hospital. How's that for Old School? We love it.
Krista and baby are doing well. Little Sebie is a scrappy little guy and well developed for a 32 week baby. We are so blessed. Krista is not out of the woods yet but she is going in the right direction. Please offer prayers for their continued improvement, especially to St. Gerard Majella, patron saint of expectant mothers.

He is so beautiful Annie. I love seeing Krista with him and will continue to hold you all in my heart and prayers. It is wonderful to have Sebastian come into our haiku circle. Much love to you all!

may Mary our blessed Mother wrap her arms around Krista and Sebastian! I will pray for them both...and you grandparents. I had a cousin born at the 6th month, and he survived!
Oh my, thank goodness they are both doing well and are safe and sound. Definitely adding my prayers for a speedy recovery for your daughter and continued good health for your new grandchild!
